“We’re living in the worst times”

For the people out there saying this… Really? Are you that weak and pathetic? Have you never looked at history past your birthdate?

The people out there these days saying “wow, with everything going on in the world” or “this is the worst time to be alive”. Are you guys out of your damn minds? 50 years ago American teenage men were being drafted into the military to go die in a country that never even attacked us. 80 years ago our country was literally attacked and THREE countries declared war on the us. 90 years ago was literally called “The Great Depression”. Don’t even get me started on the 1800’s!

So what? You have to work overtime at Starbucks, getting paid ABOVE minimum wage, to go to that Taylor swift concert? Literally every race and gender in this country can legally vote, marry, carry guns, and travel freely! You can hop on a plane and be on another CONTINENT in less than 24 hours!

Yeah there’s struggles in todays world, but “we’re living in the worst times”? Cry me a fucking river.
